Spring Cleanse! Come discuss the variety of spring cleansing options and the foods and herbs to support your health and digestion. We will discuss juicing, spring greens, useful roots, and fermented foods.
Leave with a liver support tincture to kickstart your spring!
$25 non members, $20 members


Herbal First Aid
Saturday, March 22 11-1 in the Board Room
Build your own first aid kit including flower essences, homepathics and homemade remedies such as salves and Kloss's herbal liniment to treat yourself and family. Having a ready-made kit on hand can save much time, energy, and money when an emergency strikes. Come learn to put your own kit together based on your own needs and leave with a Kloss's Herbal Liniment to begin your preparations.
$25 non members, $20 members

About the instructor: Melissa is an Appalachian-born herbalist whose love of plants and concoctions began as a child.

She focuses on healing plants that grow all around us here in the mountains as well as wild foods. Melissa has studied with many amazing herbalists and plant geeks, including Rosemary Gladstar, Matthew Wood, and Deborah Frances. She currently teaches at the Appalachian School of Holistic Herbalism and works as the Health and Body Care Manager at the French Broad Food Co-op. She can be reached at hbc@frenchbroadfood.coop
